Pastor Napoleon Ocheja, a civil servant with the Federal Government of Nigeria, is married with two daughters. He and his family were among the recent beneficiaries of the Millard Fuller Foundation’s zero-profit and zero-interest housing scheme.

His excitement was unmistakable when the keys to his new home were handed to him. For those who know him, his joy was completely understandable.

While sharing his testimony, Pastor Napoleon said, “I moved into a rented apartment in the community where the Millard Fuller Foundation is located, without any hope of becoming a landlord. Not long after, a friend informed me about the organization’s zero-profit and zero-interest homes.”

He explained that he made inquiries about the project, fulfilled all the necessary requirements, and was eventually shortlisted as one of the beneficiaries.

“This house is a dream come true for me and my family,” he said. “I now have my own home, and I can proudly say this house has saved us from landlord harassment. It will give us the comfort of being homeowners.”
