The Millard Fuller Foundation hosted partners and stakeholders on Wednesday, 5th October 2022, for its annual National Day Build in Luvu Madaki Community in Masaka, Nasarawa State.

The event provided an opportunity for the stakeholders to meet with the beneficiaries of the affordable housing units developed by MFF in partnership with Selavip International and the Etex group, two organizations known for their unique approach to sustainable housing.

The foundation’s Chief Executive Officer, Sam Odia, who spoke during the event, noted that the Millard Fuller Foundation had adopted a unique approach to sustainable and affordable housing. He disclosed that 24 single-room units in blocks of four semi-detached studio flats were built following an agreement with parties on the project, adding that each unit has a bathroom and kitchen.

“Our desire is to ensure every low-income earner has a roof over their head. We want to ensure that everybody can have their own home, where they will not need to pay money to any landlord,” he said.
